Programme Highlight

This project aims to enhance the capacity of the existing drainage system and mitigate flood risks in the vicinity of Lung Cheung Road near Shatin Pass Road.

 

The project scope includes the construction of an underground stormwater storage tank with an approximate capacity of 47,000 cubic metres, together with associated above-ground structures at Morse Park in Wong Tai Sin, as well as the reprovisioning and enhancement of part of Morse Park. The works also comprise the construction of approximately 1.4 kilometres of stormwater drains with diameters ranging from 1.2 m to 2.5 m along Wing Chuk Street, Chuk Yuen Road, Ma Chai Hang Road, Fung Mo Street, Wong Tai Sin Road and Po Kong Village Road in Wong Tai Sin, the rehabilitation of approximately 560 m of stormwater drains at Po Kong Village Road, and the carrying out of associated ancillary works.
