Exchange Camp for Mainland and Hong Kong Young Civil Engineers 2026 – Beijing and Hebei/Henan Province, Chinese Mainland

Programme Highlight

The Exchange Camp, organized in collaboration with the China Civil Engineering Society, is a flagship program of the Division. It aims to broaden the knowledge of young engineers on infrastructure development in the Chinese Mainland.

 

Subject to arrangements by our Chinese Mainland counterparts, participants will visit cutting-edge infrastructure projects in Beijing and Hebei/Henan Province. The itinerary will also include visits to major city attractions and local universities.

 

Participants are required to conduct preliminary research and deliver a group presentation on a selected topic during the camp.

 

Fee

$4,000

* The fee includes accommodation, transportation in the Chinese Mainland and major meals. No refund will be made once payment has been received.

 

Registration & Enquiries

  • Number of participants is limited to 25, on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to members of the HKIE Civil Division aged 35 or below.

  • Only successful applicants will be notified with further details (including payment arrangements) before the tour. Successful applicants will also be required to provide additional information for hotel booking.
  • The organizer reserves the right to reject applications with incomplete or missing information.
