Programme Highlight

Contract No. HY/2014/20, titled “Central Kowloon Route – Yau Ma Tei West”, mainly comprise the construction of an approximately 250 metres long depressed road at the western tunnel portal of Central Kowloon Route (CKR). A landscaped deck structure of an approximate area of 22,000 square metres above the western tunnel portal is also included in the work scope. The project also includes the construction of approach roads and slip roads, along with realignment and regarding of existing roads, connecting CKR with the existing road networks. The contract commenced in November 2018 for completion in 2025.

 

This site visit will begin with a brief introduction to the project, the current progress and the challenges the project team faces. Then it is followed by a visit to the site. A Q&A session will be held after the visit.
