Technical Visit to MiC mock-up of Wong Chuk Hang Student Residence at Yuen Long

Programme Highlights
The proposed student residence at Wong Chuk Hang is a project managed by HKU, which will provide two 17-floor towers of student residences comprising student flats each with 8/9/10 rooms on a podium. It will provide around 1,224 student places as well as living accommodation for management staff and support facilities. The tower portions containing hostel rooms, staff quarters and bathrooms are constructed with a total of 952 nos. of MiC modules.
The project has been selected as one of the two pilot projects for adopting Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) in Hong Kong.
You are cordially invited to visit the MiC mock up of this project in Lau Fau Shan, which comprises a two storey MiC modules with a total of 10 modules. Experience on the use of MiC will be shared and discussed during the visit.
