This technical visit is organised by the HKIE Civil Division and supported by the HKIE Gas & Energy Division.

With the rapid advancement of renewable energy, offshore wind power is becoming an increasingly vital component of China’s energy strategy. Join us for a technical visit to the headquarters of Mingyang Group, a global leader in wind and renewable energy solutions, and the Guangdong Offshore Wind Power Big Data Center, China’s first provincial-level offshore wind power data platform, located at the China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute in Guangzhou. This visit offers a unique chance to explore cutting-edge advancements in wind power technology, data management, and big data applications, providing valuable insights into the planning, construction, and operation of offshore wind projects in the Greater Bay Area.

* The fee includes transportation in the mainland and lunch. There will be no refunds once payment has been made.

• The maximum number of participants is limited to 35 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division and HKIE Gas & Energy Division.
• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2023-24 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
