Program Highlight

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Students' Society at the HKUST has been organizing this Secondary Schools Bridge Demonstration Competition for more than ten years now. The competition aims at promoting civil engineering to the secondary school students by providing an opportunity for them to experience the design and the construction of various types of bridge structures. The HKIE Civil Division is proud to co-sponsor the competition with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the HKUST this year.

Eleven secondary school teams have joined the competition to build the “best” truss bridge. The final competition will be held at 12:45 pm, 1^st March 2017 (Wednesday) at the HKUST Atrium.
