Programme Highlight

To ease pressure on developed areas and to meet the demand for land arising from population growth, the development of Kwu Tung North (KTN) / Fanling North New Development Areas (NDAs) was listed as one of the major infrastructure projects. The contracts mainly comprise the construction of the connection in the Fanling Bypass Eastern Section for traffic arrangement, footbridge over the Ng Tung River, reprovisioning of the On Lok Mun Street Playground, public toilet and refuse collection point near Lung Yeuk Tau Interchange and the road junction improvement works in the North District for a better network in the NDAs.

This site visit will begin with a brief introduction of the Fanling North New Development Area Project. It is then followed by a visit to introduce the construction of underpass, depressed roads and footbridge connection works at Lung Yeuk Tau Interchange. A Q&A session will be hosted by the project team after the site walk.
