Programme Highlight

Expansion of Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Works, Phase 1 aims at increasing the treatment capacity of the existing Sha Tau Kok sewage treatment works to meet the demands. The works include reconstruction of existing Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Works for raising its sewage treatment capacity, construction of 1.7 km submarine outfall, and provision of village sewerage at Tong To. This Contract includes the following works:

• Construction of temporary sewerage treatment plant
• Construction of new submarine outfall
• Construction of permanent sewerage treatment works
• Laying of sewers at Sha Tau Kok Town
• Laying of sewers at Tong To Village

• The maximum number of participants is limited to 25 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division.
• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2024-25 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
