建造業議會（議會）非常關注近來涉及起重操作的嚴重意外事故。有見及此，議會本年的工作以關注吊運安全為主題，包括全面檢視議會提供的吊運安全訓練課程、推出全新的吊運安全督導員證書課程、 製作吊運安全虛擬實境體驗套件、進行一系列推廣相關技術事宜等工作，進一步加強業界對吊運操作的安全警覺性。
議會、香港建造學院及勞工處代表將于此研討會分享在吊運安全的最新資訊。透過是次研討會，希望業界對吊運操作安全有更深入的瞭解，並在工地即時實踐。
