Programme Highlight

The Central-Wanchai Bypass (CWB) is a strategic road planning along the north shore of Hong Kong Island, mainly to ameliorate the traffic congestion problem along Gloucester Road – Harcourt Road – Connaught Road Central corridor.

Contract HY/2009/19 is one of the contracts for CWB Project. In this project, it included construction 300m long tunnel at North Point, modification of section of Island Eastern Corridor, associated works including landscape deck, noise barriers and noise semi-enclosures.

This technical visit will start with a brief introduction to HY/2009/19 and follow by site walk to major facilities on site.
