Programme Highlight
Construction of Disciplined Services Quarters for the Fire Services Department at Pak Shing Kok is the first pilot public works project adopting Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) technique in Hong Kong. This project commenced in September 2018.

With 8 units on each floor, the quarters will provide 648 three-bedroom units of 50 square metres. There are about 3,800 MiC modules in total. Only 30 minutes are needed for installation of one module, and it takes about five working days to assembly one floor. Currently, more than 10% of the module installation works have been completed on site.
