Care for the Elderly in the Community 2020 (歲晚送暖表愛心) – CVD Team [DEADLINE EXTENDED!]

Programme Highlight:

With the support of the Suicide Prevention Services Limited (SPS), we will be visiting solitary elderly with emotional distress and sending them gifts with warm greetings.  A briefing will first be provided by the SPS.  Volunteers including those from the Civil Division of HKIE will then be divided into small groups to carry out caring home visit in West/East Kowloon and a chat with the elderly.  Throughout this event, volunteers will have a better understanding on the living conditions of the elderly and this will also help to identify their special needs for possible follow up by the SPS.

This voluntary work intends to nurture the caring culture of elderly with emotional distress and to foster the spirit of harmony in our community.

Free of charge.
