Programme Highlight

Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT) will meet the TKO external traffic demand as a result of continual development of TKO. TKO-LTT, together with the proposed Trunk Road T2 and Central Kowloon Route, will form the Route 6 which will provide an east-west express link between West Kowloon and TKO areas. TKO-LTT contains a dual two-lane highway approximately 4.2 km long connecting Tseung Kwan O (TKO) at Po Shun Road in the east with proposed Trunk Road T2 in Kai Tak Development in the west.

The Contract includes construction of the main tunnel of the TKO-LT Tunnel, construction of tunnel portal facilities and ventilation building at TKO, construction of slip roads, branch tunnels, viaducts, Lam Tin Interchange, tunnel portal facilities, ventilation building and administration building at Kwun Tong, and implementation of the associated building, civil, structural, marine, electrical and mechanical, landscaping and environmental protection and mitigation works.

This technical visit will start with a brief introduction to the project and follow by site walk to major activities on site.

• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by Civil Division in the session 2019-20 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
