Programme Highlights

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become an important tool for building and civil works. Many industries have increasingly used BIM as a tool for them to more comprehensively and easily manage their projects.

 This current sharing would cover the following topics:

1)    Introduction of BIM on civil projects

2)    How BIM can improve performance on civil projects

3)    What are the special features of new IT technology tailored for Civil projects

4)    Cases of usage of BIM in civil works and projects.

Speaker:

Mr. Elvis Li is the CEO of isBIM Limited, the leading Building Information Modeling consultant in Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei and 17 branch offices in China. With his more than 9 years experience in property development and over 10 years experience of planning and implementing BIM and BLM project, he has successfully created a series of value added services from feasibility study to facility maintenance phase for over 160 BIM projects in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Mumbai. He is the member of BIM Expert Committee of China Commercial Real Estate Association (CCREA), Council committee of China Engineering Graphic Society and founding member of Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modeling (HKIBIM).
