Technical Visit to the Visitor Centre and Recycling Plant at EcoPark

Programme Highlights

EcoPark, one of the waste management facilities of the Environmental Protection Department, is located in Tuen Mun. It is developed in two phases and provides a total of 14 ha of land for occupation by the recycling industry.

A Visitor Centre, is situated in the South Wing of the Administration Building of EcoPark. It is the first large-scale education resource centre in Hong Kong with the theme of municipal waste. Participants will have opportunities to visit the EcoPark Visitor Centre aiming to educate public on waste management and waste reduction and observe the processing of waste electrical appliances at the "WEEE GO GREEN" EcoPark WEEE Recycling Centre.

Registration & Enquiries

The number of participants is limited to 30 on a first-come first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division.

 

The number of applicants exceeded capacity and the online registration was CLOSED.

 

Only successful applicants will be informed on or before 13 June 2013.
