Exchange Camp for Mainland and Hong Kong Young Civil Engineers 2018

Programme highlight

The biannual Exchange Camp is a highlight event of the division with a view to broadening the knowledge horizon in respect of infrastructure development in Mainland China for young engineers.  The Exchange Camp 2018 marks the 20^th anniversary of cooperation between HKIE and China Civil Engineering Society.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit major infrastructure development under the Belt and Road Initiative and post-512 earthquake re-development projects funded by Hong Kong in Sichuan Province. Participants will also visit major attractions in Xian and Chengdu including兵馬俑 and大熊貓繁殖基地. There will also be exchange activities with local universities.

Participants will be divided into several groups and are required to prepare brief information research before the Exchange Camp and present a selected topic during the event.

Registration & Enquiries

Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and priority will be given to members of civil division aged at or below 35. Successful applicants will be informed of the payment details accordingly.
