Programme Highlights

The project aims at alleviating the flooding problems in Happy Valley and Wan Chai areas. The scope of the project comprises the construction of an underground stormwater storage tank with a capacity of 60 000 m³, a pump house and associated drains. The underground storage tank will temporarily store part of the stormwater collected from the upstream catchment during heavy rainstorms, thus greatly reduces the risk of flooding to low-lying area of Happy Valley and Wan Chai District.

Pre-registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priorities given to members of HKIE Civil Division.

At 11:30am 20 June, the number of applicants far exceeded the capacity, registration was CLOSED.

Only successful applicants will be informed on or before 21 June 2014.
