Programme Highlight

TKO Landfill Restoration Stage II/III received waste from 1986 to 1995. Restoration facilities were completed in 1999. TKO landfills have been utilizing landfill gas for electricity generation for onsite use and as a thermal energy source for leachate treatment. This visit will focus on their leachate and landfill gas management systems, landscaping, groundwater pumping system and goats rearing.
