Programme highlight

Hong Kong’s engineering professional services have been playing the role of “super-connectors”, facilitating the international economic cooperation between the Mainland China and other counties.  What role can engineers play, in particular the younger ones, to seize the opportunities brought about by numerous overseas infrastructure developments?  Ir Chris LAU will share his worldwide involvement in various mega infrastructure projects, including those constructed under the Belt and Road Initiatives.

Besides, the Overseas Delegation to Sri Lanka attended by more than 40 delegates from Hong Kong was successfully held from 22 to 27 June 2018.  Delegates visited various major infrastructure developments related to the Belt and Road Initiatives in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka and will share at the seminar the knowledge and experience gained from the delegation.
