Programme highlight:

The Kai Tak Development (KTD) is a huge and highly complex development project spanning a total planning area of over 320 hectares covering the ex-airport site together with the adjoining hinterland districts of Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin and Kwun Tong. The Stage 4 Infrastructure (Contract No. KL/2012/03) covers the infrastructures at the North Apron Area of the Kai Tak Airport, including construction of new roads and drains and two sewage pumping stations.

Attendees will receive a technical briefing on the project provided by the host, followed by a tour around the site on the works of pumping station and DCS trenchless works across the Kai Tak Box Culvert.

Registration Details:

• Number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to members of HKIE Civil Division.

• Applicants who have already successfully registered to or participated in more than FIVE (5) visits organised by the Civil Division in the session 2016-17 will be given lower priority during the process of registration.
