Date, time & venue
2017-02-19;10:00 – 17:00;Hong Kong Disneyland Park
With the support of the Hong Kong Disneyland, we will be organizing a trip to Disneyland with children from our beneficiary, Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC), aged 6 to 12, from low-income and/or ethnic minority families. In this event, each volunteer will look after a child of the same gender and you will then form small groups to enjoy the amusement facilities in the Park.
We aim at giving children a memorable moment in the beginning of the Year of the Rooster in February 2017. The friendship built could benefit the children in terms of guidance and care. On the other hand, this activity gives our members an opportunity to understand more the needs of underprivileged children. This can also enhance members’ awareness of ethnic minority group in our society and improve their communication skills with people from different parts of the world.
Ticket fee to the Park is waived by the Hong Kong Disneyland. Participants are responsible for their own lunch and transportation (of arriving and leaving the Hong Kong Disneyland).
